I study human-computer interaction (HCI) and natural language processing (NLP) to build intelligent systems that support people's work, creative activities, and communication. My work often engages online crowd workers to test the systems, operate human-powered components, provide feedback, and curate datasets.

Mission Statement Push the boundaries of what can be achieved by people and computers together, imagining a future in which intelligent systems provide solid and advanced support in complex human tasks rather than just automating mundane routines.
